The United States Tamiya Ryu Iaijutsu (USTRI) organization is an officially recognized Branch (Shibu) of the Tamiya Ryu Iaijutsu Genwakai in Japan. The President (Kaicho) of the Tamiya Ryu Iaijutsu Genwakai is 15th Headmaster (Soke) Tsumaki Kazuo (Genwa) Sensei. USTRI General Manager and Head Instructor, Michael Alexanian (Gennan), is a sitting member (Riji) of the Genwakai Board of Directors.
