United States Tamiya Ryu Iaijutsu _Gennankai

I began learning Tamiya-Ryū slightly under 1 year ago. For a martial art that generations of people have devoted their lives to, this feels like no time at all. Despite that, I’m grateful for the chance to share my thoughts with you all. To me, Tamiya-Ryū is more than a martial arts school, or a collection of techniques. It’s a banner, drawing like-minded individuals together under the same, endless goal. Self-improvement. This is the heart of what Tamiya-Ryū is to me and how it’s continued to thrive for generations. Because even as years pass, there is no end to the word, “Better”.
